Thank you for your interest in my work. Since being admitted to the bar, I have specialized in the areas of criminal law, compliance & litigation. Prior to starting my own business, I worked in leading commercial law firms.

As a criminal defence lawyer, I represent private individuals and companies before courts, public prosecutors' offices and tax authorities or the police. I am mainly active in tax criminal law and commercial criminal law. I also support my clients in general and international criminal law, in internal investigations or in disputes before civil courts, tax offices and other authorities and courts.

Dr. Andreas Dürr has many years of experience in criminal law, compliance consulting & litigation.

  • 2006Studied law at the LMU Munich, the Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha, Toledo (Spain) and Magister Juris at the University of Oxford (England).

  • 2011Specific foreign legal language training in English, French and Spanish.

  • 2012Research assistant at the Chair of German, European and International Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Law as well as White Collar Crime at LMU Munich.

  • 2014Carlo Schmid Fellow of the German Academic Exchange Service at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in The Hague (Netherlands)

  • 2016Legal clerkship at the Berlin Higher Regional Court with training at the Berlin Regional Court, the Berlin Public Prosecutor's Office, the German Federal Ministry of Finance and renowned law firms.

  • 2018Doctorate with the grade summa cum laude in international criminal law with research stays at Harvard Law School and the University of Toronto. Awarded the Doctoral Prize of the Faculty of Law of the LMU Munich
